PERSONAL MUSIC HISTORY

• Started on Baritone in 7th Grade, at W.E. Greiner Jr HS in Dallas under Bill Lively.
• In 9th Grade started String Bass.
• Played Baritone and String Bass at Sunset HS, in Dallas. Also sung in Choir.
• After High School, majored in music at Mt. View College Dallas.
• After one year, joined the Army and found myself in the First Cavalry Division Band at Ft. Hood.
• Spent the next 6 years in three Army Division Bands.
• Except for a little banjo and some other stuff, gave up music for about 37 years.
• Made plans to retire from The Irving Fire Department and get back into music. Bought a Bass and a flugelhorn. Started with the Town North Band in 2016.
