PERSONAL MUSIC HISTORY
• Played clarinet age 10 until now.
• Self-taught on tenor saxophone, playing from age 14 to 22.

BANDS/GROUPS I HAVE PLAYED OR AM PLAYING IN
• *New Horizons Band Dallas
• United States Military Academy at West Point Cadet Band 1981-1985.
• West Point Glee Club (Cadet chorus) 1981-1983.
• York Community High School (Elmhurst, Illinois) Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, Concert Choir, and Jazz Band 1977-1981.
• Oderzo Italy Municipal Band 1986-1989.

CAREER/RETIREMENT HIGHLIGHTS
• Taught Majors and Lieutenant Commanders how to run the Armed Services at the US Army's Command & General Staff College 1999 to 2011.
• Ph.D. in Adult Education & Leadership from Kansas State. MBA University of Chicago.
• Commanded a company and battalion in the US Army, retiring after a 37-year military career in 2018.
• Ran the Mortgage Company at Bank of Montreal and Bank of the West, retiring in 2024 after a 35-year career in banking.

FAMILY
• Very happily married to Dr. Holly since 1987.
• Dr. Holly is a consulting partner with Accenture since 1991 and still working full-time in 2025.
• Daughter Katrina is in Medical School at the UT Long School of Medicine in San Antonio, graduating as Dr. Katrina in 2028. Wellesley College grad 2022.

INTERESTS/HOBBIES
• Playing clarinet.
• Skiing with Dr. Holly in Utah.
• Following Army Football, since Dr. Holly and I met at the 1984 Army-Navy game.
• Traveling back to Italy with Dr. Holly, since we were married there, are fluent, and lived there for three years.
• Beginner level Pickleball in Coppell.
• Visiting with and connecting with friends from high school, West Point, the military, banking, and the various places we’ve lived (Dallas, Chicago, Richmond, Atlanta, Charlotte, Kansas City, Venice, and New York City’s Upper East Side.)
