• Started playing oboe in Marshall Texas Junior High and Senior High School 1953 – 1958.
• Left the oboe for college, marriage, children and military.
• Returned to oboe (a Bundy) when daughter started flute in 1975.

• Fought the 'Cold War' at Columbus AFB, Mississippi and Earnest Harmon AFB, Newfoundland, Canada – USAF 63-67
• Fought 'Taxes' as a CPA - 1967-2015 -- Can't even spell CPA any more.

FAMILY

• Wife – Judy, daughter – Robin, son – Stephen
• Grandchildren – Elizabeth, plays cello for Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, Debra – artist
• Both grandaughters sing in Lux Benit Choral in Fort Worth
• Grandson – Parker, French Horn in top Hudson Middle School Band – Garland ISD
