• Learned flute summer after 4th grade, almost never quit playing after that.
• Attended Illinois Wesleyan University’s first summer music camp.
• First chair All State 1954.
• Played many musicals here and in Illinois.

CAREER/RETIREMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• My husband Jim & I owned and operated a motel in Bloomington 1955-1966
• Worked for Sanger Harris/Foleys for 15 years in Dallas

FAMILY

• 2 sons, 2 daughters, 3 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter
• Married for 62 years before Jim’s death.

INTERESTS/HOBBIES

• Love to read, cook, enjoy being with people
