CAREER/RETIREMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Taught every music subject from K – 12th grade including Band, Orchestra, Choir and General Music in 32 years of teaching in Texas
• Teach private flute lessons at home, Dan F. Long (CF/B ISD) and McKinney (McKinney ISD)

FAMILY

• Mother and Grandmother of 18 year-old boy and girl twins
• Lost Mike, my wonderful husband of 53 years, last April, 2018 who played trumpet in our band

INTERESTS/HOBBIES

• Playing flute ensembles with friends
• Swimming
• Keeping up with Cuddles and Patches, my cats
• Reading

OTHER

• Taught Band at Seabrook Intermediate with Fred Haise’s, (astronaut ) son as a trumpet student during Apollo 13
• Attended 1968 Olympics while living in Mexico City with Mike, husband, who was a consultant with Monsanto
