� After attending a TubaChristmas concert, began taking euphonium lessons in 2009, and joined NHBD several years later

� Worked first for Texas Instruments and then for Raytheon as a design engineer in their military equipment areas

� Brother in Oklahoma and sister in Dallas

INTERESTS/HOBBIES

� Volunteer weekly at Trinity River Audubon Center, Dallas Arboretum and Texas Discovery Gardens
� Active in Dallas chapters of Texas Master Naturalists and Native Plant Society of Texas
� Participate annually in Texas Archeology Association Field School (week long arch. excavations in Texas)
� Participate in Dallas Zoo conservation activities in Texas
� Volunteered weekly building houses for 10 years with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity

OTHER

� Jane and I love to travel, and have been fortunate to visit many exotic and fascinating destinations throughout the world. Still have visits to Egypt and Turkey on our wish list.
